美國期中選舉倒數3天，高齡80歲的美國總統川普，9天內密集跑了14場造勢活動。期間卻突然點名批評挪威，形容當地是「公廁國家」。沒想到這番羞辱反而被挪威當成最強的觀光宣傳，還誓言「讓公廁再次偉大」。
川普坦言不喜歡挪威，直言當地「爛透了」，甚至形容挪威已經變成「公廁國家」。
川普在期中選舉期間，將矛頭指向未讓他獲得諾貝爾和平獎的挪威，形容當地是「公廁國家」。不過，挪威並未動怒，反而幽默接招。
挪威觀光局順勢分享多座景觀公廁，這些公廁宛如藝術品。還改編川普的招牌口號，喊出「讓公廁再次偉大」。
挪威有公廁佇立在冰湖與雪山旁，設計相當唯美，甚至還有能一邊如廁、一邊欣賞極光的景觀打卡點。不論是有如廁需求，還是單純想欣賞風景，都值得專程造訪。挪威也感謝川普讓全世界知道，當地不只有極光，還有美麗的廁所。
川普表示，不想跟挪威人打交道，也不想跟挪威有任何瓜葛。
