巴西近日發生一起飯店墜樓事故，一名26歲女子與男友外出旅遊，入住飯店期間卻意外從7樓墜下，雖然現場人員緊急展開救援，仍未能挽回她的性命。事發當時的監視器畫面也隨之曝光，警方目前初步朝意外事故方向調查，另針對飯店窗戶結構是否存在安全問題展開鑑識。
根據巴西媒體《G1》報導，26歲女子雷娜塔（Renata Rebeca Negrão Saldanha dos Santos）日前與男友前往馬拉尼昂州首府聖路易斯（São Luís），參加一場撲克賽事，原本預計於11月3日返家。

不料當天凌晨約1時30分，兩人在里約波蒂飯店（Rio Poty Hotel）7樓走廊尋找房間鑰匙時，雷娜塔坐在窗戶邊框上，接著將身體往後靠在鋁製窗框結構上。沒想到窗框突然鬆脫，導致她失去支撐，直接從高處墜落，最後撞上飯店入口處的遮雨棚。事故發生後，現場雖有人試圖搶救，但雷娜塔最終仍因傷勢過重身亡。
警方事後調閱飯店監視器，針對墜樓前後的經過進行釐清。從目前掌握的影像來看，並未發現男友有推人或攻擊雷娜塔的行為，因此警方暫時沒有將男友列為嫌疑人，案件現階段以意外死亡方向偵辦。男友接受警方詢問時透露，兩人事發當晚曾飲酒，但他表示，對於雷娜塔墜落的關鍵瞬間並沒有印象，無法清楚說明當時發生的情況。

除了釐清事發經過，事故中的窗戶結構也成為調查重點。馬拉尼昂州公共安全廳已派遣鑑識人員前往飯店，檢視鋁製窗框為何突然脫落，並確認是否涉及設備老化、安裝不當或其他安全缺失。目前相關鑑定工作仍在進行，尚未公布正式調查結果。飯店方面則表示，將全力配合警方調查。
